Times have greatly changed in the wedding landscape. With prenuptial shoots gaining impressive popularity, grooms and brides are more collaborative, if not downright creative, in expressing themselves. Take for example this lovely couple, all the way from Brunei Darussalam, Daryl and Beverly. Got to know them through a former client, Allen and Marilyn, who also wed in the rich oil-state.

When Beverly invited me to shoot their save-the-date video, it was a unique setting. The shoot was within the couple’s photo shoot for their pre nuptial photos.  This save-the-date video, which will show three setups, was shot here in Manila.  They wanted a ‘natural’ feel to their video, hence the 2-in-1 shoot. Seeing them relaxed and without being conscious in front of the many lights and lenses before them, you’d think they had been doing this for long.  Making this video makes me look forward to their wedding in Brunei.

What I am about to share was one hell of a shoot. Imagine yours truly, filming at no less than Central Park in New York City, USA! And if I can make it there, I’ll make it anywhere…

Big Apple-based Lenard and Lea are big on details. They want their save-the-date video to be released months ahead of their December wedding in the Philippines to give time to family and friends to clear their schedules and make travel arrangements. I have been blessed with the opportunity to film them at Central Park, Brooklyn Bridge, and on other cool streets of NYC. The shoot gave us time to bond with our New York lovebirds. And who wouldn’t be in love in this vibrant city?

New York is big, and that is an understatement. I could have been lost in that city. But thanks to my best friend, Michelle and her husband Regin who played good hosts to me. There’s nothing like having them around as I walk on that concrete jungle where dreams are made of. There’s nothing I wasn’t able to do. I was even able to shop for myself! Oops, I have revealed much.

Be sure to include a save-the-date video in your wedding preparation. I’m sure you don’t want your guests to miss your important date. Ladies and gents, here’s the save-the-date video that must have made Lady Liberty blush.

For the ‘save-the-date’ video of Archie & Judith, the original plan was to have an aerial pictorial at the Lakeshore in Pampanga  and at the runway of Pulilan, Bulacan.

This was pretty obvious considering that Archie who happens to be a pilot and a doctor at the same time(good catch Sharon!!!).

But the shoot didn’t go without hassles which made as forego with the latter and finished everything at Lakeshore.
